Emergency Medicine Locum Tenens Physician

HPA Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

The physician will provide 12-hour daytime Emergency Department coverage from 8:00 AM–8:00 PM in a Level III Trauma facility. The department averages approximately 36 patients per day and has 11 ED beds, 2–3 ED RNs, and an APP.

This opportunity is particularly well suited for an experienced Emergency Medicine physician who is comfortable practicing in a community hospital environment, managing a broad range of emergency presentations, supervising an APP, and stabilizing patients for transfer when higher-level specialty services are unavailable locally.
