Emergency Medicine Locum Tenens Physician

HPA Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens assignment in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

The physician will provide 12-hour daytime Emergency Department coverage from 8:00 AM-8:00 PM in a Level III Trauma facility. The department averages approximately 36 patients per day and has 11 ED beds, 2-3 ED RNs, and an APP.

This opportunity is particularly well suited for an experienced Emergency Medicine physician who is comfortable practicing in a community hospital environment, managing a broad range of emergency presentations, supervising an APP, and stabilizing patients for transfer when higher-level specialty services are unavailable locally.
