Cardiology Locum Tenens Physician

Position Overview

HPA Healthcare is seeking Board-Certified Non-Invasive Cardiologists for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Richland, Washington.

This assignment provides inpatient cardiology coverage with daytime rounding and overnight beeper call. Physicians must be available for at least two full weeks per month, with ongoing opportunities throughout 2027.

Assignment Highlights

• 24-hour coverage day

• 7 days on / 7 days off

• Minimum 2 full weeks per month

• Daytime inpatient coverage from 7:00 AM-7:00 PM

• Overnight beeper call from 7:00 PM-7:00 AM

• All inpatient clinical work and overnight call included in the daily rate

• No separate callback compensation

• Inpatient-only practice

• Approximately 5-10 patients per shift

• Epic EMR

• Echocardiography, TEE, and nuclear cardiology required

• No interventional cardiology procedures required

• Approximately 30-day credentialing timeframe

• Long-term housing assistance subject to approval
