Neurology Locum Tenens Physician

Position Overview

HPA Healthcare is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neurology physician with neuromuscular and EMG experience for a locum tenens assignment at Kaiser Permanente Southwood Comprehensive Medical Center in Jonesboro, Georgia.

This outpatient opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule with a focus on general Neurology, neuromuscular disorders and electrodiagnostic testing.

The ideal physician will have strong neuromuscular clinical experience, proficiency in nerve conduction studies and EMG expertise.

Assignment Highlights

• Pay Ranking: Competitive compensation for specialized outpatient Neurology locums; details available upon inquiry.

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM.

• Setting: Outpatient Neurology.

• Clinical Focus: Neuromuscular Disorders, EMG, NCV and General Neurology.

• Patient Volume: Approximately two encounters per hour, subject to confirmation.

• Call: In-house call for assigned patients is listed; specific frequency, hours and responsibilities require confirmation.

• Inpatient Rounding: Not required.

• Hospital Admissions: Not required.

• EMR: Epic.

• Travel: Airfare, lodging and rental car reimbursement available within client limits.

• Credentialing: Approximately 21 days after complete submission.

• Georgia License: Active license required.

• Local Providers: Preferred.
