CRNA Locum Tenens

Position Overview

HPA Healthcare is seeking three experienced Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) for a full-time locum tenens opportunity in Boise and Nampa, Idaho.

This six-month assignment offers an excellent opportunity to practice across two hospital settings, providing a diverse anesthesia case mix and the opportunity to maintain both medically directed and independent anesthesia skills.

Providers will primarily work in Boise, with occasional coverage at a nearby Nampa facility.

The ideal candidate is a confident, adaptable CRNA with strong clinical skills, experience managing complex surgical cases, and the ability to provide independent obstetric anesthesia.

Assignment Highlights

• Pay: $210/hour regular

• Pay Ranking: Estimated Top 25%-35% nationally for locum CRNA hourly compensation

• Weekly Earnings: Approximately $8,400 for 40 regular hours

• Additional Compensation: Overtime, holiday, call, and callback opportunities

• Start Date: January 4, 2027

• Duration: 26 weeks

• Schedule: Full-time, approximately 40 hours per week

• Shifts: Variable 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts

• Call: Required weekday and weekend coverage

• Practice Model: Supervision-based and independent anesthesia

• Clinical Scope: General surgery, orthopedics, spine, trauma, healthy pediatrics, and obstetrics

• EMR: Epic

• Licensing: Idaho license preferred; candidates requiring licensure considered

• Orientation: Paid

• Travel: Travel arrangements and reimbursement subject to approval

Schedule

Candidates must be available for full-time coverage.

The schedule includes approximately 40 regular hours weekly, with variable 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts.

Additional extended coverage and mandatory call are required.

Boise Call:

• Approximately two weeknights per month

• Approximately one weekend per month

Nampa Call:

• Approximately one call assignment weekly

• May include weekday or weekend coverage

Schedules are generally provided 4-6 weeks in advance.

Block scheduling and restrictions to specific shifts cannot be accommodated.

Clinical Responsibilities

The assignment provides experience in two distinct practice environments.

Boise Practice

CRNAs work in a supervision-based anesthesia environment supporting a broad surgical case mix.
