Locum Tenens Urologist – Portsmouth, Ohio

HPA Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified Urologist for an ongoing locum tenens opportunity in southern Ohio beginning November 2026.

• Estimated Weekly Clinical Pay: $14,144
• Additional call and callback compensation

• Ongoing assignment
• Monday–Thursday primary office schedule
• 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
• Scheduled clinical hours + call
• Approximately 15–20 patients/day
• Inpatient and outpatient Urology
• Approximately 4–8 hospital procedures/day
• General Urology
• Advanced endoscopic procedures
• Laparoscopic procedures
• PCNL
• Ureteroscopy
• Established APP and clinical support
• MediTech EMR
• Ohio license or IMLC pathway
• Malpractice coverage provided
• Travel support available according to assignment guidelines

Position Overview

The physician will provide a combination of outpatient Urology, inpatient care, hospital procedures, rounding, admissions and call coverage.

The practice offers a broad procedural mix and an established support team that includes two NPs, clinical staff, medical office assistants, a surgery scheduler and UDS support.

Schedule

Monday–Thursday
8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Approximately 3–4 half-day clinics with additional hospital responsibilities and beeper call.

Call Response: 30 minutes

Requirements

• Board Certified in Urology
• Ohio license or IMLC pathway
• ACLS
• BLS
• General Urology experience
• Advanced endoscopic skills
• Laparoscopic surgical experience
• PCNL
• Ureteroscopy
• Inpatient and outpatient experience
• Comfortable supervising APPs
• Ability to meet a 30-minute call response requirement
