Critical Care Locum Tenens Physician

Position Overview

HPA Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified, fellowship-trained Critical Care physician for a long-term locum tenens assignment in Marlborough, Massachusetts.

The assignment runs from 01/04/2027 through 09/30/2027, with the possibility of an extension.

This is a 100% inpatient ICU opportunity with a relatively small patient census. The physician will work independently in a 10-bed ICU, with approximately eight beds typically open and a usual census of 6–8 patients.

The facility prefers physicians who can provide a 12-hour daytime ICU shift followed by overnight call, although complete 24-hour coverage is preferred rather than required.
