Cardiac Anesthesiology Locum Tenens Physician

Position Overview

HPA Healthcare is seeking three experienced Cardiac Anesthesiologists for an initial 13-week locum tenens assignment at BJC Saint Luke's Hospital of Kansas City, a 650-bed Level I Trauma Center.

This is a high-acuity cardiac anesthesiology opportunity requiring physicians comfortable with complex cardiac and aortic surgery, open-heart procedures, vascular cases, liver cases and TEE interpretation.

The anesthesia department utilizes a 100% medical-direction model, with anesthesiologists directing CRNAs, anesthesiologist assistants and residents.

The facility needs full-time Monday–Friday coverage as well as night and weekend call. It may consider physicians who can provide both clinical and call coverage or either component independently.
