Locum Tenens Urologist – Las Cruces, New Mexico

HPA Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Urologist for a premium, ongoing locum tenens opportunity in Las Cruces, New Mexico.

This assignment offers an unusual combination of clinic, elective OR, inpatient consults and call coverage with exceptionally strong daily compensation. The facility is expanding its locum Urology provider pool and is seeking physicians interested in recurring coverage through 2027.

Weekday coverage consists of either a half-day outpatient clinic or elective OR combined with inpatient coverage. Weekend coverage is inpatient only.

The patient population is predominantly adult with very limited pediatric volume. Hospitalists handle admissions, and local Urologists are available by phone for additional support.

• Approximately 5–10 phone consults/day
• Hospitalists manage admissions
• Active inpatient consults and rounding
• Beeper coverage
• 20-minute response requirement
• Athena EMR in clinic
• Medhost in hospital
• BC or BE Urology
• ACLS and BLS required
• License not required at initial bid
• Multiple providers may be accepted
