Cardiac Surgery Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner

Position Overview

One of our healthcare partners in Hackensack, New Jersey is seeking an experienced Cardiac Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a long-term locum tenens assignment.

This is an excellent opportunity for an APP with cardiac surgery experience who wants a predictable, full-time outpatient schedule without inpatient coverage, call, nights, or scheduled weekends.

The provider will work four 10-hour shifts per week, with one rotating weekday off, supporting preoperative and postoperative cardiac surgery patients in a well-established outpatient practice.

The APP will join a highly supported cardiac surgery program with five physicians and five additional outpatient APPs, along with a Clinical APN Manager and comprehensive administrative and clinical office support.

The facility is specifically seeking a local provider who does not require travel accommodations and can commit to the full-time schedule through March 31, 2027.
