Position Overview

An established cancer program in Pennsylvania is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Hematologist/Oncologist for a long-term locum assignment.

This opportunity combines a predictable Monday–Friday clinic schedule with one of the lightest call burdens available in community oncology. Physicians will enjoy a well-supported multidisciplinary practice featuring infusion services, Radiation Oncology, experienced APP support, and an established patient panel while earning one of the highest compensation packages currently available for Hematology & Oncology locums.

• Provider Pay: $510/hour
• November 2026 start
• Ongoing assignment
• Minimum six-month commitment
• Monday–Friday schedule
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Five clinic days per week
• Approximately 15 patients per day
• Established patient panel
• 60% Hematology / 40% Oncology
• Epic EMR
• 14-chair infusion center
• 2-bed infusion suite
• Radiation Oncology onsite
• Three APPs
• Oncology pharmacist support
• Disease-specific and multidisciplinary tumor boards
• Temporary privileges available

Call Schedule

Weeknight Call

• Approximately 10 nights per month
• 4:15 PM – 8:00 AM
• Typically 2–3 phone calls between 5:00 PM and 9:00 PM
• Rare overnight interruptions
• Covers Emergency Department and inpatient consults

Weekend Call

• Approximately 2 weekends per month
• 24-hour consultative call
• Includes 2 hours of inpatient rounding each day (gratis)
• Hospitalists manage admissions
• Phone calls do not count as callback
