Position Overview 

A Montana hospital is seeking a Board-Certified OB/GYN Physician for ongoing locum tenens pager call coverage.

This opportunity offers a highly desirable lifestyle schedule focused primarily on emergent Gynecology coverage with limited anticipated procedural volume. Physicians will provide backup coverage for emergent Gynecologic cases and occasional emergent Obstetrical situations as needed.

The facility is seeking physicians who can provide at least one week of coverage per month and are comfortable managing emergency Gynecologic procedures independently.

Compensation

• $2,100 per 24-hour pager call shift
• $275/hour callback after 3 included hours
• Ongoing assignment
• Consecutive call blocks available

Job Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour pager call coverage
• Evaluate emergent Gynecology consults
• Manage emergency Gynecologic procedures
• Support emergent Obstetrical cases when necessary
• Perform emergency surgical intervention when indicated
• Coordinate care with Emergency Medicine and Hospital teams
• Complete documentation within Epic EMR

Skills & Experience

Required

• Board Certified Obstetrics & Gynecology
• Active Montana License or ability to obtain
• BLS
• Active Obstetrical experience within the past two years
• Ability to meet 30-minute response requirements
• Comfort managing emergent Gynecologic procedures independently

Preferred

• Rural hospital experience
• Trauma center experience
• Prior locum tenens experience
• Minimally invasive Gynecologic surgery experience
