Hospitalist Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner

Position Overview

HPA Healthcare is seeking an experienced Hospitalist/Nocturnist Nurse Practitioner for a 13-week locum tenens assignment in Northern New York.

The NP will work a predictable 7-on/7-off night schedule from 7:00 PM–7:00 AM, providing hospital medicine care to acutely ill adult patients.

This is a scheduled no-call assignment offering $150/hour, with premium compensation for approved overtime and recognized holidays.

Responsibilities

The NP will evaluate and manage hospitalized adult patients, perform admission evaluations, diagnose and treat medical conditions, order and interpret diagnostic testing, develop treatment plans, coordinate care with the hospital team, communicate with patients and families, and complete timely Epic documentation.
