Position Overview 

One of our Partners in North Carolina is seeking an Emergency Medicine physician for ongoing night shift coverage at a community hospital Emergency Department.

This opportunity offers a consistent 12-hour night schedule, Epic EMR, manageable patient volumes, and the support of a large regional health system. Physicians will practice broad-spectrum emergency medicine while having access to ECU Health's air and ground transport network for higher-acuity transfers.

This assignment is ideal for Emergency Medicine physicians or experienced Internal Medicine/Family Medicine physicians with emergency medicine experience seeking supplemental shifts in a stable practice environment.

Provider Pay: $280/hour

Pay Ranking: Top 10–15% among ECU Emergency Medicine locum opportunities (2026).

• Orientation required day before first shift

• No call responsibilities
