Anesthesiology Locum Tenens Nurse Practitioner

Position Overview

HPA Healthcare is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) for a full-time locum tenens Pre-Anesthesia Testing / Pre-Operative Assessment assignment in New York.

This is an excellent opportunity for an APP seeking a highly predictable weekday schedule with no call, no nights, and no weekends. The provider will work in an ambulatory pre-operative setting evaluating and optimizing patients prior to upcoming surgical procedures.

This position is primarily focused on patient assessment, chart review, medical optimization, data collection, referrals, and coordination with the Surgery and Anesthesia teams. No procedure-based skills are required.

Recommended Provider Pay: $110/hour

Assignment Highlights

• Pay: $110/hour
• Start: September 21, 2026 or sooner
• Duration: Approximately 3–6 months
• Schedule: Monday–Friday
• Hours: 7:30 AM–3:30 PM
• 8-hour shifts / approximately 40 hours per week
• First patient: 8:00 AM
• Last patient: 3:00 PM
• No call
• No weekends
• Approximately 8–9 patients per day
• Outpatient / ambulatory pre-operative setting
• No procedure-based skills required
• Epic EMR
• New York license must already be in hand
